The program officially starts, Wednesday, October 8th, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with the initial screening sessions. All registered players will be evaluated based on their technical skills, physical fitness, game intelligence, and tactical awareness.

The screening continues Thursday, October 9th, offering additional participants and latecomers an opportunity for assessment. By the end of Thursday, officials will choose a select group of standout players to advance to the next phase.

Meanwhile, on Friday, October 10th, the selected players will engage in focused training sessions designed to sharpen their gameplay and teamwork under the supervision of professional coaches and scouts.

The climax of the event comes on Saturday, October 11th, with the Showcase Match, where the best talents will compete in a live game setting before scouts from various international clubs.

During the showcase, players who impress gain the opportunity to trial abroad, especially in Turkey, and could earn professional contracts once they complete all standard assessments and requirements.

This structured process reflects FPLI’s ongoing commitment to discovering, developing, and promoting young African footballers, giving them a credible pathway to global football opportunities.

Beyond competition, the program represents a platform for growth and exposure — nurturing raw talent into professional excellence. The Future Pro League International continues to champion youth empowerment through sport, creating bridges between local passion and international possibility.

This October, DMAK Pitch in Wuse Zone 5, Abuja, will become the stage where dreams take shape, and the next generation of football stars begin their professional journey.
