Three newly elected members of the House of Representatives have been sworn in by the Speaker, Dr. Tajudeen Abbas.
The swearing-in ceremony follows their emergence as winners in the August by-elections held in various constituencies across the country.
A total of five members-elect from Kaduna, Edo, Oyo, Ogun, and Jigawa States won their respective seats in the August by-elections across some States of the federation.
The three lawmakers sworn-in are Joseph Bagudu from Kaduna State,
Muktar Rabiu, Jigawa State,
and Omosede Igbenedion from Edo State, daughter of former Governor Lucky Igbinedion.
The Green Chamber resumed today Oct 7 after over two months of Recess.
