N/Central APC Youth Wing Hails New FFS CG’s Appointment

The APC Youth wing in the North Central Zone has applauded the appointment of Samuel Adeyemi as the new Controller General of the Federal Fire Service.

At a media briefing in Abuja, the Youth Leader, Zubair Aliyu said the appointment was a clear indication that the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s led administration was committed to inclusive governance, meritocracy and recognition of competence.

“This remarkable appointment is not just a recognition of one man’s achievement, it is a loud and clear message from Mr President that this administration is committed to inclusive governance, to meritocracy and to the recognition of competence and professionalism across all geopolitical zones of our great country”.

He commended President Bola Tinubu for finding the new CG worthy of such sensitive national assignment and appealed to the Federal Government to provide modern Fire and emergency prevention tools to enable him to effectively meet the service’s mandate.

“Mr President we thank you for finding Olumode worthy of such sensitive national assignment, he is a seasoned, experienced and visionary professional whose dedication to service has never gone unnoticed, his elevation to this position brings pride not only to Kogi State but also to the entire North Central region and indeed the Youth constituency of Nigeria”.

“While we celebrate this well deserved appointment, we also take this opportunity to humbly appeal to the Federal Government for continuous support, we call for enhanced capacity building and provision of modern resources that will enable the Controller General and his team at the Federal Fire Service to effectively deliver on their mandate of Fire prevention, emergency response and the protection of lives and property across our nation”.

The Youth leader reaffirmed their unwavering support for President Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda and also pledged to continue mobilising the Youth of the North Central Zone and beyond to support President Tinubu for the entrenchment of democratic values.

While appreciating the Minister of Interior Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo for the massive reforms in the Ministry especially in believing in the competence of the new CG Fire, the Youth leader stressed their confidence that the Federal Fire Service would experience positive transformation that will inspire trust through the leadership of the new CG.
