FG Condemns Malumfashi Mosque Killings, Vow To Arrest Perpetrators

The Federal Government has vowed to hunt down and bring to justice the perpetrators of the heinous killing of worshippers in a mosque in Malumfashi Local Government Area of Katsina State.

This is contained in a statement signed by the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mallam Mohammed Idris.

It says the callous and barbaric attack on harmless citizens who had gathered in peace to worship is a crime that must not go unpunished.

It also stressed that security forces are already on the trail of the criminals, and no stone would be left unturned until they are all apprehended and held to account.

While condemning the wanton act of violence in the strongest terms, the Federal Government says it is not only an assault on the people of Malumfashi but also on our shared humanity and values as a nation.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, therefore, extends his deepest condolences to the families of the deceased, the people of Malumfashi, and the Katsina State Government, adding that the governmentwith them at this dark hour.

It prays that the Almighty grants the departed eternal rest and console the bereaved.
