Residents of Wako and Gada- biyu communities in Kwali Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory have been advised to bring their children between nine months to fifteen years for the Measles Rubella Vaccination coming up in October this year.
The National Orientation Agency, NOA community orientation and Mobilization Officer Kwali Area Council, Mrs Ngene Njideka gave the advice at a forum held in Wako and Gada biyu.
Mrs Njideka noted that there’s need for parents to bring their children for the immunization to prevent them from getting inffected with Measles.
Speaking at the event, the Etsu of Wako, Alhaji Abdul’azez Ibrahim who was represented by the Madakin Wako Mallam Adamu Abdullahi commended the government’s effort so far.
In their separate remarks, the leaders of the community assured their support for the success of the program.
