Former Chairman, Nat’l Rescue Movement Defects To APC

The former chairman of the National Rescue Movement, NRM, Ambassador Isaac Chigozie Udeh, has defected to the All Progressives Congress, APC.

This is contained in a statement signed by him and presented to the Chairman of Amaofuo ward in Oru West local government area of Imo state.

According to the statement, Ambassador Udeh emphasizes that the decision to leave the party wasn’t easy considering his role in its formation in 2022 but stressed that after careful consideration he realized it was time to move on.

“I write to formally notify you of my decision to resign from my membership of the National Rescue Movement effective from 23rd July, 2025”.

According to the statement, Ambassador Udeh appreciates the NRM for the opportunity given to him and wishes the party success in its future endeavours.

“I remain committed to contributing positively to the development of our great country, Nigeria,” Ambassador Udeh adds.
