Over 1m Children To Be Immunised Against Polio In FCT

Over one million children are to be immunized against polio in the Federal Capital Territory.

The Mandate Secretary, FCT Health Services and Environmental Secretariat, Doctor Adedolapo Fasawe, made this known at the flag off of the National Immunization Plus Days in Kwali, Abuja.

Doctor Fasawe said the exercise was to enhance healthcare delivery for children in the Territory.

In a remark, the Etsu of Kwali, Mr Luka Nizassan, advised community leaders in the area to sensitize their people on the immunization.

Earlier, the Sarkin Jiwa, Alhaji Idris Musa, urged parents to avail their children for the immunization exercise.
