NIS Arrests Notorious Kidnapper, Ritualist, Obi

Personnel of the Nigeria Immigration Service NIS, has arrested one Obi Levi Obieze popularly known as Levi Obu Onyeka who is wanted by the Nigeria Police for his involvement in kidnapping, Abduction and ritual Killing.

A statement by the Service Public Relations Officer Akinsola Akinlabi says he was arrested at the Badagry-Seme Border while attempting to flee the country on a motorcycle.

The statement says Mr Obi Levi who is a resident of Umuojor village in Isiagu community of Enugu state and a known native doctor is alleged to be involved in the kidnapping of a thirteen year old girl on 27th of May 2025 .

According to the statement, the girl was rescued from the shrine linked to the fleeing suspect.

The statement states the Nigeria Immigration Service’s resolve to collaborate with the Nigeria Police for the handover of the suspect and further investigation.

It reaffirms the NIS’s commitment to effective border surveillance and security.
