Viral Video : Education Ministry Commits To Conducive Examination Environment

The Minister of Education, Dr Mauruf Tunji Alausa has reaffirmed Commitment towards effective deployment of infrastructure and provision of a conducive environment to promote education in the country, in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda in the education sector.

The Minister stated this while responding to a viral video revealing an inappropriate setting for the conduct of examinations at Unity Secondary School in Asaba, under the supervision of the Delta State Ministry of Education.

A statement by the Director of Press and Public Relations in the Ministry, Boriowo Folasade notes that the ministry under the leadership of Dr. Maruf Tunji Alausa, describes the incident depicted in the video as totally unacceptable, as efforts will be made to address it.

According to the statement, the Federal Ministry of Education has commenced investigation with the help of the Delta State Government and WAEC, adding that the outcome of the investigation will be made public.
