Tinubu’s Reforms Laying Foundation For Prosperity – Kalu

The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt Hon. Benjamin Kalu, has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration for laying a solid foundation for the country’s prosperity and growth through bold reforms.

Speaking at the inaugural National Policy Dialogue on the Legislative Agenda of the House, Kalu highlighted the administration’s achievements, including unified exchange-rate windows, capital inflows, and tax reform laws.

The Deputy Speaker also reported that the House of Representatives has considered over 1,059 bills since its inauguration on June 13, 2023, covering various aspects of national life.

Kalu emphasized the importance of the dialogue in delivering visibility and understanding of the legislative agenda, which focuses on eight pillars, including good governance, national security, social sector development, and economic growth.

The dialogue aims to integrate stakeholder inputs, fortify partnerships, and inform policy interventions. Kalu urged participants to seize the opportunity to co-create a legislative toolkit that will drive Nigeria’s progress.
