In a bid to assist the less privedged students in the country, the Sean and Tarra Ajayi Foundation is set to award scholarships to top 20 students out of 40 applicants drawn from Lagos and the FCT, who emerged winners in an essay writing competition with the topic : “How Education Benefits Nigerian Youths To Meet Future Goals”.
The Foundation’s President and Founder, Mr Sean Olusegun Ajayi said the scholarship was targeted at supporting Nigerian youths in achieving their future goals by providing financial assistance for school fees, books, and other materials.
“The Foundation believes in the power of education as a vital tool for reducing family problems and poverty. By investing in education, we can empower Nigerian youths to break the cycle of poverty and create a brighter future for themselves and their communities,” said Sean Ajayi.
Ajayi explained that in the Scholarship details,
the Foundation will pay school fees of ₦100,000 for each of the top 20 students.
He said in addition to the tuition, the Foundation will provide further financial support for books and school materials stressing that they have been supporting education for the less privileged in the past two years, to address the high rate of out of school children.

He also called on Nigerians at home and in the diaspora to support the less privedged for nation building.
“The Foundation currently supports 20 schools and 20 children, with plans to expand across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory in Nigeria, and across Africa.To harness their full potential so as to contribute meaningfully to the nation’s progress.
“By investing in education, the Foundation believes a crime-free society and a brighter future for Nigerian youths can be achieved enabling them to be self reliant.
A member of the Foundation’s Board of Directors, Amb. Amina Temitope Ajayi who said it takes a village to raise a child,” also called on Nigerians at home and in the diaspora to contribute to the development of Nigeria.
“I want all my people in the diaspora to return to their alma maters and give back to their communities for the development of Nigeria and Nigerians,” she advised.
“I am appealing to Nigerians at home, in Diaspora to also contribute meaningfully to the well-being of our country Nigeria like
‘Sean and Tarra Ajayi foundation” which has contributed immensely in renovating schools, drilling of boreholes for portable water, among others.”
