FCT To Host Abuja Car Trade Fair Next Month

The Federal Capital Territory is to play host to the first edition of the Abuja Car Trade Fair, happening at the Old Parade, early next month.

In an interview with Kapital FM, the host of the fair, a graduate of the Federal University Oye-Ekiti. Anthony Afachung said his passion for business development led him to create the Abuja Car Trade Fair.

On how he delved into the Auto industry, Anthony said he started the entrepreneurial journey with a business called CarsIbadan located in Oyo State, during his time at the university.

According to him, ”I was driven to earn money during school holidays to sustain a decent lifestyle while in school my first client was my mother, Mrs. Toyin Afachung, who entrusted me with selling her car.”

The success of that initial deal inspired Anthony to delve deeper into the car dealership business and made him connect with car dealers across Ibadan, building relationships and gaining experience.

In 2022, Anthony relocated to Abuja and rebranded his business to Chungsville Autos, incorporating part of his name into the business to reflect his growth beyond Ibadan.

Anthony’s focus extends beyond profits, he is deeply committed to client satisfaction and aims to meet both the immediate and long-term needs of his customers.

His passion for business development has led him to create the Abuja Car Trade Fair, a landmark event in the auto industry, which showcases his dedication to expanding opportunities and elevating the car-buying experience for his clients.

”The Abuja Car Trade Fair, happening at the Old Parade Ground on the 2nd of November, is an opportunity to explore a wide range of cars, from budget-friendly options to high-end vehicles, and meet with reputable auto dealers, brokers, and loan agents offering great financing deals,” he said.

”Whether you’re looking to buy a car or sell one, this fair has something for everyone! Sellers can bring their cars for an inspection and valuation from the 31st of October and 1st of November 2024, (a Thursday and Friday) ensuring they’re priced fairly for the event,” he said.
