Primate Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion, Most Reverend Henry Ndukuba has appealed to the political elites to give all support towards the success of President Bola Tinubu’s initiative on the Proposed National Youth Conference.

Archbishop Ndukuba who made the appeal during the Annual Anglican Women Conference in Abuja said the Conference would provide a platform in addressing issues of youth unemployment and education to end agitations in the country.

He also appealed to religious institutions to encourage and ensure full participation of Youths in the National Conference.

“The National Youth Conference will be an avenue to empower the youths and the commencement of transferring power to the younger generation who are the future Leaders”.

In a Presentation, President Anglican Women’s Conference, Mrs Angela Ndukuba urged the Federal Government to issue licenses to modular refinery operators to produce more Motor Premium Spirit to reduce high cost of the product in the country.

The President Anglican Women’s Conference said that the removal of fuel subsidy in May 2023 had continued to increase the hardship of citizens.

Some people had to resign from their employment because of high transportation cost”.

“Capable interested Individuals should be given licenses to own standard modular refineries that will reduce the number of illegal refineries being discovered on a regular basis.”

Mrs Ndukuba, however, stressed the need for organisers of protests in the country to sheathe their swords and embrace dialogue, saying that protests are often hijacked by hoodlums to unleash more hardship on Nigerians.
