The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ, FCT Chapter has Felicitates with all Muslim faithful, particularly her esteemed members on the occasion of Eid-El-Maulud celebration.
In a statement jointly signed by the Chapter’s Chairperson, Comrade Bassey Ita Ikpang and Secretary, Nkiruka Okeke, urge Muslims to uphold the values of compassion, kindness,forgiveness and strive to make our communities better.
The statement also enjoined Nigerians to be inspired by the Prophet’s teachings towards promoting understanding, peace and harmonious society.
The statement wishes all members a happy Eid- El-Maulud celebration and answers to their prayers.
“We also pray for peace, unity, and prosperity in our nation, and for the continued strength and resilience of our members as they carry out their duties as journalists and by extention watchdogs of the society.
“May this special day bring joy, love, and blessings to all our members and their families.
“We also use this opportunity to appreciate the contributions of our members to the development of journalism in Nigeria. Your dedication, hard work, and commitment to ethical journalism are highly valued and recognized.”
