The Nigeria Immigration Service says it is working with relevant authorities to apprehend those behind the growing wave of fake recruitment Exercises and bring them to justice.
The Public Relations Officer of the Service says in a statement that the attention of the Comptroller General of Immigration, Mrs Kemi Nandap has been drawn to the fraudulent activities.
According to the statement, the Service maintains that all recruitment exercises are conducted in a transparent, free and merit-based manner.
It states that the Nigeria Immigration Service remains committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism in all its operations.
The statement urges the general public to be vigilant and refrain from using fraudulent recruitment schemes.
It also advised that such should be reported to the Nigeria Immigration Service official channels for prompt action.
