Chelsea are still big admirers of Super Eagles ace Victor Osimhen and may want to sign him in the winter or next summer transfer window.

That is the view of transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, who has spoken about the attacker’s situation.

Osimhen is currently with Galatasaray on loan, but the club has the option to terminate the deal early in the winter transfer window.

The forward, who is still a Napoli player, is reportedly on the outs with the club’s ownership and has no future there.

Osimhen does have a release clause of around £70M, which Chelsea may find reasonable.

The Turkish Super Lig powerhouse, Galatasaray, officially announced the signing of 25 year old Osimhen, on a season-long loan from Serie A champions SSC Napoli.

The club unveiled the Super Eagles striker with a captivating video on their social media platforms on Wednesday, set to a hit song by American music icon, Usher.

The video showcases Osimhen’s arrival in Istanbul, featuring the 25-year-old in a striking moment that fans will remember.

With his trademark mask, Osimhen confidently declares, “We are the best,” while pointing towards the Europa League trophy, signaling his intent for the upcoming season

The 25 year old shared his delight on X App with a photo of himself and daughter.

“Super excited to be part of the Galatasaray family! I can’t wait to give my all and make the most of this new journey with such an amazing group and the fans,Ready to create unforgettable memories together! Let’s go!”

A move to Turkey may be seen as a backwards career move and may hurt his stock moving forward.
