In a strategic move aimed at enhancing governmental transparency and engagement, President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of six presidential liaison aides to represent each of the six geo-political zones of the country.

The President announced this decision to bolster direct communication between the government and the citizens.

The newly appointed Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) will be responsible for the Presidential Zonal Community Engagement. Their primary role is to interact directly with Nigerians within their respective zones to discuss and explain the President’s economic policies and programs.

The appointees include:

Moremi Ojudu for the South-West
Chioma Nweze for the South-East
Gift Johnbull for the South-South
Abiodun Essiet for the North-Central
Abdullahi Tanko Yakasai for the North-West
Abdulhamid Yahaya Abba for the North-East

According to the official statement, these aides are tasked with returning to their communities to foster better understanding of the President’s policies and to actively gather public feedback.

This initiative is aimed at ensuring that government programs are effectively communicated and that citizen input is integrated into policy development.
