President Tinubu Approves Youth Secretariat For FCT

Minister of FCT, Nyesom Wike says
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the creation of a Youth Secretariat for the FCT.

Wike made this known in Bwari Area Council during a town hall meeting organized to enlighten youths of Bwari against participating in the proposed nationwide protest scheduled to commence in 3 days time.

The FCT Minister who proceeded from Bwari to also sensitise youths in Gwagwalada Area Council, has within the last 3 days moblized and sensitized Abuja youths in AMAC, Kuje, Kwali, while Abaji on the waiting list.

“I have good news for you, following your complaints, I approached the President and Mr. President has graciously approved the creation of a Youth Secretariat for the FCT.”

Wike also told the Abuja Youths that President Tinubu has given approval for the construction of one additional police station each across the six area councils, with a promised to look into their complaints as well.

Wike added that his Administration will do all within its power to address Marginalization, and injustices raised by the people.

According to Wike “Security is a critical priority in the Renewed Hope Agenda. Nobody likes injustice, that is what informed my policy of spreading amenities, when you are happy, allow your neighbour to be happy too. That is what brings peace,” Wike said.

“An economy that was down for decades can not be fixed in one year, give us time,” Wike told the youths.

Earlier, some of the youths that spoke at the forum assured the Minister that they would not be part of the planned protest.

Similarly, the FCT Minister had earlier in the day inspected an ongoing 29 km road in Paikon kore in Gwagwalada and expressed satisfaction with the level of work done by the construction company handling the project.
