The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr. Abbas Tajudeen has pledged to give accelerated attention to the National Minimum Wage Bill once it is received from the executive arm of government.

In a statement in Abuja, Dr. Abbas praises President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for approving the national minimum wage of 70,000 for Nigerian workers and also commends the president’s compassionate leadership and commitment to the welfare of citizens.

The Speaker emphasizes that this significant development aligns with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda and demonstrates his empathy towards the plight of average Nigerians.

According to him, the new national minimum wage will go a long way in alleviating the challenges faced by Nigerian workers.

He calls on Nigerians to continue trusting President Tinubu’s vision and to embrace peaceful settlement and dialogue at all times.
