In an effort to improve service delivery, increase efficiency and productivity, the Ministry of Interior has called on its staff to renew their shared sense of duty and commitment to the core mandate of the Federal Civil Service Reforms.
The Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, Dr Magdalene Ajani, made the call at the Directors’ Performance Contract Signing Ceremony and launch of Performance Management System in Abuja.
Dr Magdalene Ajani who noted that the event was a covenant of accountability and a promise to join forces with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to deliver his aspirations to Nigerians urged staff to deliver on their departmental functions and responsibilities.
She commended the Minister, Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, for his drive and inspiration to see that the ministry excels in its statutory mandate .
The Permanent Secretary announced that the Office of the Civil Service of the Federation has dedicated every Thursday as Performance Management System Day as a Change Management Strategy.
She, however, called for a collective working relationship to achieve the mandate of the ministry and build a reformed Federal Civil Service to impact the renewed hope agenda of the current administration.
