FCT SWAN Begins Preparations For NUJ Football Tournament

Team FCT Sports Writers Association Of Nigeria, SWAN, has begun training at the Area 3 pitch, Abuja, ahead of the 2024 Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Correspondent Chapel Football Tournament.

14 players took part in the first session. They include top players like Amar Ignis, Udeme George and Muyideen Jimoh. Other big names include Emmanuel Fashemi, Charles Aidoghie, Victor Ijomah, Imonah Franklyn and Saheed Oladimeji.

New invite Ebuka Ike was present alongside Ohiero Linus and Godstime Egelege-Idama of Kapital FM.

Meanwhile, Calistus Ebare, Micheal Obasi, Jonathan Ameh and Olalekan Kilajolu are expected to join the team.

Team Coordinator, Tolu Oguntimehin who expressed satisfaction on the attitude of the players, noted the team has what it takes to emerge champions.

The coach of Team FCT SWAN, Abdul Onimisi however disclosed that only the best legs will make the final list.

Team FCT SWAN will begin their campaign against AIBEN on Thursday 12th, July 2024 by 12pm at the Old Parade Ground, Area 10 Garki Abuja.
