The people of Igu Kingdom have been advised to be tolerant and accommodate herdsmen and other residents engaging in their lawful businesses peacefully in the area.
The Ohimegye Igu of Koton-karfe, Alhaji Saidu Akawu Salihu while addressing his people at the palace after performing the two rakaat Eid Prayer, promised to continue to work for the unity and development of the land as he implored farmers to remain vigilant and law abiding.
The monarch appealed to his subjects who were still aggrieved with his emergence as Ohimegye to sheath their swords and join hands with him in moving the kingdom forward.
Earlier, at the Koton-karfe Eid central praying ground, the Chief Imam, Alhaji Musa Yakub Liman appreciated Allah for sparing the lives of the Ummah that witnessed Eid noting that it was a glorious moment filled with bounties.
The Chief Imam cautioned the congregation not to engage in any form of misconduct and transgression during and after the celebration.

He enjoined the people to reflect on life, be patient with the difficult times and always seek Allah’s intervention in all affairs.
The Chief Imam further appealed to good spirited members of the community to extend hands of fellowship to the less privileged in the society.
At the JIBWIS Eid ground, Imam Muhammad Kabir Muhammad cautioned parents not to allow their children to engage in forbidden acts in the name of Eid.
He stressed that the Eid period was meant to foster unity and humility among the Ummah irrespective of status and tribe.
The Chief Imam prayed for peace, progress, and development of the LGA, the state, and the country at large.
