The Primate, Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion, Most Reverend Henry Ndukuba has expressed concern over the rampant killings of security personnel by some perceived aggrieved Nigerians.

Addressing the congregation during a confirmation service at Saint Mathew’s Anglican church Maitama Abuja, Most Reverend Henry Ndukuba said these incessant assaults and killings potends danger to lives and property in the country.

He appealed to the federal government to urgently call for a national dialogue to address various agitations before it gets out of hand.

Most Reverend Ndukuba however, stressed the need for all aggrieved Nigerians not to take the law into their hands and stop jungle justice being meted on security personnel.

According to the clergyman, attacking security operatives will not yield positive results but rather aggravate the situation and worsen the current security situation in the country.

The Primate also emphasized the need for government at all levels to always ensure justice, run an open door policy and deliver the dividends of democracy to every part of the country.

He charged the newly inducted Boys, the Girls’ Guild and Mothers’ union to be good ambassadors of Christ and be agents of change in the country.

According to the Anglican Primate, the Church must continue to build men and women that will promote religious tolerance and work for peace and Unity in the country.

The service featured a special prayer session for Divine Wisdom for those at the helm of affairs at all levels of governance.
