FG Tasks New FRSC Boss On Reduction On Road Accidents

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation says the Federal Government is expecting much from the new Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps.

While decorating the new Corps Marshal, the SGF, George Akume said the position was a sensitive one hence much was required from the new management to reduce carnages on Nigerian roads.

He urged the new Corps Marshal to use his wealth of experience to bring sanity on the roads.

According to him, FRSC was created to make the roads safer for all.

“We wish you the best on this new assignment because the assignment is sensitive and very important.”

He, however, commended the FRSC for various initiatives towards reducing road traffic crashes and fatalities.

Top government officials, senior management staff of FRSC, friends, and family members of the new corps marshal witnessed the decoration.
