APC Women Leaders Pledge Support For Ganduje

The All Progressive Congress, APC, has promised to be gender sensitive to deepen the nation’s democratic system.

National Chairman of the Party, Alhaji Umar Ganduje stated this when he hosted APC women leaders of the 36 states and the FCT in Abuja.

Alhaji Ganduje who explained that the party has a lot of regard for women, commended them for their efforts during the 2023 campaigns across the country stressing that the present administration cannot succeed without women.

The APC National Chairman assured the women that their efforts and commitments would be fully rewarded to foster political development of the country.

Earlier, the APC, national women Leader, Mrs Mary Alele – Idile who described Alhaji Ganduje as a visionary leader expressed the readiness of women to continue to work with him and the National Working Committee in repositioning the party and the country at large.

Mrs Alele – Idile appealed to the party ledership not to forget the active participation of women in nation building by carrying them along in all party activities ranging from the wards, local government, state and national levels.

Also speaking, the president of the forum and APC Adamawa state women Leader, Mrs Patricia Yakubu, said the purpose of their visit was to pass a vote of confidence on the national chairman of the party, Alhaji Ganduje and assure him of their support.

Mrs Yakubu pledged the women’s readiness to sacrifice more of their time and energy in working for the party.
