Don’t Neglect Your Responsibilities At Home-Pst Aigbe To Women

Pastor Uche Aigbe of the House on the Rock, Church Abuja has called on women not to allow the present economic challenges in the country to affect their Divine responsibilities at home.

Addressing the congregation during a service to mark this year’s Mother’s Sunday in Abuja with the theme”Planted to Flourish”, Pastor Aigbe said God gave specific assignments to women hence the need for men to always honor, support and appreciate them.

Pastor Aigbe, while attributing the high moral decadence in the society to poor parenting, said mothers must always be ready to make sacrifices for peace to reign in their homes.

Leader of the Women Group, Dr Chi Chi Aigbe, said the church would continue to empower women to enable them contribute to the economic growth of the society.

According to her, the church has constituted a counselling team to provide the necessary advice and support to women experiencing challenges in their homes.

Leader of the Women Development Program of the church, Mrs Doreen Mogaji said the church empowered some women with Deep freezers, Hair dryers and monetary assistance for them to be self reliant as part of activities to mark this year’s mother’s Sunday.

Mrs Mogaji maintained that the church would not relent in providing support to compliment the spiritual growth of women in the church.
