Israeli Authorities Assures Safety Of Pilgrims- NCPC Bos

The Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, NCPC says relevant Israeli authorities have assured adequate safety of Pilgrims from Nigeria in the forth coming exercise.

The Executive Secretary, NCPC Bishop Stephen Adegbite who stated this in Abuja while addressing newsmen on the level of preparation for the pilgrimage said the ongoing war between Israel and Gaza has nothing to do with the holy exercise.

According to the NCPC Boss, a team led by him just returned from Israel and Jordan with great assurances of safety of Pilgrims in the exercise commencing next month.

The NCPC executive secretary said the commission was returning to its normal Ten days spiritual exercise as against the recent eight days.

This he said would enable Pilgrims to have enough time for the spiritual exercise.

Bishop Stephen Adegbite noted that already the commission was working with the State pilgrim welfare boards across the country to ensure the success of the Easter pilgrimage.

He assured that the commission would ensure that all intending pilgrims that met the requirements are allowed to participate.

According to him, no citizens will be shortchanged, as everyone will get value for their money.
