PBAT Submits FCTA Budget To HOR

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has submitted the 2024 budget estimates of the Federal Capital Territory Administration FCTA, to the House of Representatives for consideration and passage.

The President’s letter conveying the budget, which was read on the floor of the House at plenary however did not specify the amount of the budget estimate.

The President who explained that, the budget proposal was prepared based on FCT’s Revenue and expenditure projection, said the Budget proposal takes into consideration the 2024 to 2026 Economy Recovery Plan of the FCT.

According to the letter, in the Budget Proposal, the FCTA prioritized purchase of equipment for medical services, job creation, youth empowerment and improved agricultural Productivity in the Territory.

President Tinubu explained that the FCT 2024 Budget Proposal Prepared by the FCT Minister is inline with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Present administration for developmental policies and Programs to lift many citizens of the country out of poverty.

He called on the House of Representatives for kind and expeditious approval of the proposal.
