Power Generation : NEP Signs Agreement With Grid Developers

The Nigeria Electrification Project has signed a Grant Agreement with two mini-grid developers, to bolster off-grid power generation in Jigawa and Nasarawa States.

The Head, Project Management Unit, Nigeria Electrification Project, Mr Abba Aliyu while speaking with newsmen in Abuja expressed optimism that the Agreement would commit the developers to deliver quality projects within the stipulated time.

Abba Aliyu urged the developers to work towards enhancing the sustainability of mini-grids to facilitate rapid socio-economic development in the communities.

In a remark, the two developers pledged firm commitment to fulfilling all contractual obligations.
