Danny Drinkwater, who won the Premier League with Leicester City in 2016, has announced his retirement from professional football aged 33.
The midfielder had been a free agent after his contract with Chelsea ended in the summer of 2022.
Drinkwater, who started out at Manchester United, announced his retirement on Jake Humphrey’s ‘High Performance’ podcast
