National Chairman of the Labour Party, Julius Abure has approved the termination of appointments of some of his aides with immediate effect.
This is contained in a statement signed by the National Secretary
Labour Party, Malam Umar Farouk in Abuja.
The statement notes that all appointments that were related to campaigns have been formally dissolved.
According to the statement those affected are Chairman, Labour Party Presidential Campaign Committee on Special Duties, Mr. Mandela Ukegbu, Senior Special Assistant on Presidential Campaign, Fund Raising and Grassroot Mobilization, Balami Isaac David and Senior Special Adviser on Strategy, Protocol and International Relations, Didacus Joe-Adigwe.
Others are Special Assistant on Special Duties and Mobilization, Princess Ajibola, Senior Special Assistant on ICT, Isaac Imasuagbon.
The statement also warns Mr. Mandela Ukegbu to desist from parading himself as an aide to the National Chairman henceforth.
The National Chairman wishes them well in their future engagements.
