Gordon’s Adding Goals And Product – Howe

Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe, speaking about winger Anthony Gordon: “I think he has had an outstanding start to the season. I think his athleticism is coming to the fore but he is adding goals and product.

“He had an assist and a goal on Saturday, which is great to see, and all attacking players will be ultimately judged by that.

“I always say when we sign players there needs to be patience. As much as you want them to be in and be outstanding immediately, that’s rare.

“I always knew Anthony’s quality and I think the pre-season has been really good and as were the six months he had with us before the summer.”
