Banky W Eti-Osa Seat : INEC To Rerun Election 

Hopes have rekindled on Nigerian singer-turned-politician, Banky W as the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC is set to conduct a supplementary election for the  Eti-Osa House of Representatives seat in Lagos.

Banky W, who ventured into politics under the PDP, waged a passionate campaign for the seat unfortunately, he lost to the Labour Party Candidate, Thaddeus Attah.

However, in the tribunal sitting, which took place in Ikeja, Lagos, on Monday, September 11, the court nullified the election that placed Thaddeus Attah as Representative of the Eti Osa Federal Constituency of Lagos State.

Intelregion reported that the court ordered INEC to conduct a rerun in the 32 polling units of Eti-Osa within 90 days.

In light of the announcement, Banky W took to his micro-blogging platform (X) to share his enthusiasm. He wrote, “It is possible. Still”.
