Jisalo Harps On Social Harmony For National Development

The Minister of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs, Mr Zaphaniah Bitrus Jisalo has promised to champion nationation-buildingugh the enthronement of social harmony and sustainable development in line with the renewed hope agenda of President Bola Tinubu’s led administration.

Mr Jisalo made the promise while addressing Directors and staff of the Ministry in Abuja.

He also promised to promote strategic tools for grassroot development and effective implementation of government’s programmes for national development.

Mr Jisalo therefore solicited the support of the staff towards achieving the mandate of the Ministry of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs for the betterment of the country.

While describing the Ministry as strategic to the realization of the eight point agenda of President Bola Tinubu’s led administration, Mr Zaphaniah Jisalo said he would collaborate with necessary stakeholders for the growth of the country.

According to him, the Agencies under the Ministry would be properly supervised for optimal performance.

The Minister promised to accord priority to staff welfare towards boosting their productivity and ensure the realization of Government developmental programmes.

In a remark, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mrs Ibiene Patricia Roberts congratulated the Minister on his appointment and assured readiness of staff to support the Minister to succeed in his activities.

Some of the staff who congratulated the Minister on his appointment, stressed the need for him to take the issue of staff training and retraining as well as welfare as some of his top priorities for the progress of the Ministry.
