FRSC Rewards Personnel For Outstanding Performance

todayMarch 31, 2026

Background

The Federal Road Safety Corps FRSC has once again reaffirmed its commitment to integrity, transparency, and professionalism as the Corps Marshal, Mallam Shehu Mohammed formally recognised and rewarded outstanding personnel whose conduct continues to reflect the highest ideals of public service.

At a ceremony in Abuja , the Corps Marshal presented commendation letters and cash rewards to a select group of officers and marshals whose consistent dedication to ethical standards has distinguished them in the course of their duties.

Mallam Shehu Mohammed said the honourees, drawn from operational commands across the country, were celebrated not merely for isolated acts, but for a sustained culture of discipline, accountability, and professional excellence that aligns with the Corps’ core values.

The Corps Marshal emphasised that “the gesture forms part of a deliberate institutional framework designed to motivate personnel, strengthen public trust, and reinforce the Corps’ zero-tolerance stance on unethical conduct.

According to him, integrity remains the cornerstone of effective law enforcement and public safety administration.

He maintained that the Corps will continue to identify, encourage, and reward behaviours that elevate the image of the Corps.

“Today’s award highlights an enduring culture and serves as a reminder that integrity is both expected and appreciated.”

He further stressed that the initiative is not only about recognition but also about inspiration—encouraging all personnel to remain steadfast in upholding the values that define the Corps.

He reaffirmed Management’s commitment to providing the right environment, leadership, and incentives that will continue to drive ethical conduct and operational excellence at all levels.
