Chief Imam Of Abaji Wants Muslims To Imbibe Lessons Of Ramadan

The chief Imam of Abaji central mosque, Mallam Bala Usman has admonished Muslims to sustain the lessons learnt during the month of Ramadan and also embrace the spirit of reconciliation for peace to reign in the country.

He made the call in his Eid-el-fitr sermon at the Abaji Eid praying ground.

Mallam Usman also urged Nigerians to always make selfless sacrifices to attract Allah’s blessings.

In his Sallah message, the Ona of Abaji who is also chairman of the FCT traditional Council of chiefs, Alhaji Adamu Baba Yunusa called on Muslims to be law abiding during and after the sallah celebration and promote peaceful co-existence for national development.

The traditional ruler advised Youths to shun any act capable of truncating peace and unity of the country.

In a sallah message the chairman Abaji area council Alhaji Umar Abdullahi urged residents to unite and work together for the development of the area.

The chairman also noted that the area councils election has come and gone hence the need for the people to forget their political differences and come together for the betterment of the area.
