Ex-Labour Party Aspirant Faduri Joins NRM, Announces 2027 Run

A Former presidential aspirant of the Labour Party, Faduri Joseph, has declared his intention to contest the 2027 presidential election under the platform of the National Rescue Movement, NRM.

‎Mr Faduri declaration followed the recent release of the 2027 General election timetable by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC which has prompted increased political activity across the country.

Addressing newsmen in Abuja, Mr Faduri emphasised that his interest to contest for the 2027 elections was to serve Nigeria with all sincerity

He said Nigeria requires bold and purposeful leadership to address worsening economic hardship and persistent security challenges.

According to Faduri poverty, insecurity and economic decline among the country’s most pressing concerns.

He said his campaign would focus on economic recovery, job creation for young people, reforms in the security sector and strengthening the country’s moral and institutional foundations.

Mr Faduri urged political actors and stakeholders to ensure peaceful engagement in the lead-up to the election, calling for democratic processes free from violence, intimidation and undue influence.
