AMAC : Maikalangu Lauds Residents For Re-Election

The Chairman, Abuja Municipal Area Council AMAC, Christopher Maikalangu has commended residents for their support on his re-election in last Saturday’s Area Council polls, assuring more people oriented projects to deliver on his campaign promises.

Maikalangu gave the assurance while briefing newsmen on Tuesday, in Abuja.

Represented by the Secretary General of Maikalangu/Nadabo Campaign Council, Comrade Zakeri Gambo Babale said the election was characterized by a historic demonstration of the will and choice of the people.

“Your massive turnout and the overwhelming 40,295 votes recorded during the just concluded FCT Area Council election has reaffirmed your trust in purposeful leadership and the continuity of progress;l.”

“Our Executive Chairman-Eect, Christopher Maikalangu and his Vice Nadabo Mohammed are deeply humbled by the “sea of heads” seen at the polls.This Victory secured by over 40,000 of our citizens is not a win by one political party but, a victory for all residents who believe in a better, more prosperous AMAC.”

“As a council we must thank the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, for their commitment to democratic process and our security Agencies for ensuring a peaceful and orderly environment.”
