Wike Visits Polling Units

The FCT Minister, Dr Nyesom Wike, has visited some polling units to asses conduct of the exercise across the territory.

At Area 11, the area was largely deserted, with officials idle as the turnout was poor.

At Lagos Crescent in Garki II, the three polling units visited were also scanty, as INEC officials and the corps members on duty barely had voters to attend to as of 12:20 p.m.

Several POS operators seen on the streets in Garki 2, were advised by the FCT Minister to suspend their business activities until 6:00 p.m.

He also urged them to go and exercise their franchise.

Some youths in Garki 2, however came out of their houses in their numbers, hailing Mr Project.
