Cleric Moves To Check Moral Decadence Among Youths

Religious groups have been called upon to be in the vanguard of promoting good moral conduct among young Nigerians.

The Chief Imam of Zango Jumma’a Mosque, Doctor Abdullahi Kontagora made the call at an Islamic forum in Gwagwalada, Abuja.

Doctor Kontagora said the call became necessary to curb moral decadence in the society.

In a remark, the Imam of Jumma’a Mosque, University of Abuja, Doctor Murtala Lawal stressed the need for parents to always ensure proper upbringing of their children.

Dr. Lawal also advised youths to be good ambassadors of their families.
