Cleric Tasks Govt On Good Governance

Government at all levels have been advised to be committed to the yearnings and aspirations of the people to reduce crime and poverty in the country.

The Chief Imam of Kaffin Koro, Alhaji Abdullahi Ibrahim gave the advice during the Maulud of Prophet Muhammad held in Chimbi, Niger State.

Alhaji Abdullahi Ibrahim also stressed the need for them to put in place necessary measures that would enhance the protection of lives and property in their areas.

On his part , the Community Leader of Chimbi, Alhaji Abdulkareem Ahmadu Sarki called on religious groups to always promote peaceful coexistence in the society.

In a remark, one of organizers of the Maulud, Alhaji Adamu Commander enjoined muslims to always emulate the teachings of the holy Qur’an.

Highpoint of the Maulud was prayer for the country and its leaders.
