Special Operations : FRSC Impounds 150 Vehicles Along Kaduna-Zaria-Kano Highway

No fewer than One Hundred and Fifty Vehicles, including trucks, were today impounded along Kaduna – Zaria – Kano Road for various traffic offences.

The drivers of the impounded vehicles were also prosecuted by a mobile court.

Speaking with journalists, the Corps Marshal Mallam Shehu Mohammed said the Corps was collaborating with the judiciary for mobile court sessions across the country during the Yuletide.

According to him, motorists tend to be more reckless with overloading passengers and goods, exceeding speed limits, and driving under the influence of alcoholic drinks.

Mallam Shehu Mohammed maintained that all commanding officers have been directed to deploy adequate personnel to all identified high volume corridors for effective traffic management across the Federation.

He assured the motoring public that the Corps would ensure that responsible drivers, passengers, commuters, and other road users move freely.
