Monarch Drums Support For Tinubu’s Reforms

The Agaba of Jiwa Chiefdom in the Abuja Municipal Area Council, Alhaji Idris Musa, says President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s policy direction for the Federal Capital Territory—particularly in infrastructure development, leadership appointments and administrative reforms—has earned growing support from traditional institutions in the territory.

The traditional ruler stated this on Wednesday while announcing a N1 million donation to the FCT Renewed Hope Ambassadors, a support group mobilising for President Tinubu’s re-election.

He said the administration’s decisions in the FCT reflect a people-centred vision, noting that key appointments and ongoing reforms have strengthened confidence among stakeholders.

The monarch commended the President’s appointment of the FCT Minister, Barrister Nyesom Wike, describing it as a catalyst for renewed investment and development across the territory.

He also praised the choice of Mr. Adamu Abdullahi as FCT Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, during the group’s courtesy visit to his palace.

The Agaba declared full support for Tinubu’s second-term bid and pledged to lead mobilisation efforts within and beyond his chiefdom.

He appealed to residents to sustain support for policies he said are promoting unity, inclusion and development in Abuja.

In his remarks, Abdullahi highlighted reforms in the FCT under the Tinubu administration, pointing to infrastructure upgrades, institutional strengthening, and renewed administrative efficiency.

He stressed the role of traditional institutions in advancing policy implementation and community engagement, calling for deeper collaboration to sustain peace and development.

Abdullahi sought the monarch’s approval to engage tribal chiefs across the chiefdom, noting that stability and social cohesion remain key to the FCT’s growth.
