Wike Sacks FCT-IRS Acting Chairman

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Dr. Nyesom Wike, has relieved the Acting Executive Chairman of the Federal Capital Territory Internal Revenue Service (FCT-IRS), Mr. Michael Ango, of his duties.

The announcement is contained in a statement by the Senior Special Assistant to the Minister on Public Communication and Social Media, Lere Olayinka.

According to the statement, the most senior official of the FCT-IRS has been directed to immediately assume leadership and oversee the operations of the revenue agency pending further directives.
