The second half saw a flurry of action. Cornelius, who broke the deadlock seventeen minutes into the restart of play, added his second eight minutes later.
Security FC, who were looking for their first point in the tournament, tried to mount a comeback through an Oluwatoyin Oshobe goal minutes later.
However, it was F&B that had the last laugh when Cornelius scored his third goal of the game with one minute remaining to stoppage time.
The victory puts F&B top of the table with seven points from three games, while Security FC remains bottom.
Thursday’s fixture of the GM’s Cup will see second-place Executive FC, who are yet to concede a goal, take on third-placed Engineering, who will also want to bounce back from their 1-1 draw against F&B.
