New Humanitarian Affairs Minister Assures Better Initiatives For Poverty Reduction

The newly appointed Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Dr. Bernard Doro,
has reaffirmed his commitment to President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, focusing on initiatives that promote social mobility, empowerment, and sustainable poverty reduction.

Dr Bernard Doro stated this when he
officially assumed office in Abuja.

He pledged to work closely with the ministry’s staff to uplift Nigerians living below the poverty line.

Joining other officials to welcome the Minister, the Director-General of the National Senior Citizens Centre (NSCC), Hon. Omobolanle Akinyemi-Obe, expressed confidence that Dr. Doro’s leadership would further strengthen humanitarian and poverty alleviation efforts across the country, particularly for vulnerable groups and older persons.
