GAP Analysis : FG Wants Civil Servants To Key Into Its Official Email

The Federal government wants all civil servants to key into the official government email on gov.u or lose the chance to be captured in the ongoing Personnel Audit gap Analysisas part of the digitilization process by 31st December 2025.

The Head of Civil Service of the Federation Mrs. Didi Walson-Jack stated this in Abuja at the official flag of the “one Government Cloud Enterprise Content Management System” .

Mrs Walson-Jack who said the “one Gov.CEC was part of the realization of the civil service 2021 to 2025 reforms to ensure all MDAs go paperless as the national sovereignty of digital infrastructure.

In her words, “Without this email identity, no officer will complete the Personnel Audit and Skills Gap Analysis exercise going on currently.”

“The office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation transcends from the lesser face ECM system to the One Gov Cloud Enterprise Content System platform.”

“Ministries Departments and Agencies that have not yet begun their One ECM implementation should adopt this platform going forward.”

On his part, the Managing Director Galazy Backbone Ibrahim Adeyanju who was represented by the Director Finance and Corporate Service, Mohammed Sani said the agency was working assiduously in collaboration with other partners to ensure that the migration to digital services is seamless.

Adeyanju stressed that, “December Thirty first, that day is certain, Galaxy is here to work hand in hand with the agencies, who have been working to ensure that it materialized.”

“Inter Agencies collaboration is what we are experiencing today, we don’t want to see any of these fail.”

“The Head of Service has been so generous to ensure that the migration extends till next year, for those who are not ready, but the cut off is December Thirty first non changeable.”

Professor Adeyanju assured that the sustainability of the platform has come to stay.
