Cleric Wants Nigerians To Prioritize Unity Against Foreign Intrusion

todayNovember 2, 2025

Background

Nigerians have been urged to prioritize unity in addressing challenges in the country.

The Senior Pastor, First Baptist Church Garki Abuja, Reverend Tom Takpatore, stated this during the annual Thanksgiving service of the church.

Reverend Tom Takpatore said comments of any foreign Leader has nothing to do with the promise of God for Nigeria hence the need for the federal government to work out solutions to the security, economic and increasing number of unemployed Young Nigerians.

He urged Nigerians to support the present administration and remain optimistic that the country will soon be back on track.

A member of the Women Missionary Union, Mrs Grace Zamani, appealed to the church members to inculcate the habit of thanking God for peace and unity in the country.

Mrs Zamani, however, appealed to parents not to allow the present economic situation in the country to affect their homes.

Also speaking, Mrs Nike Takpatore assured that the Church would continue to provide support for the less privileged in the society.

According to her, wealthy individuals and religious organizations have the responsibility to alleviate the plight of the down trodden in the country.
