Gabam’s Exit, Timely Intervention To Save SDP – State Chairmen

The Forum of State Chairmen of the Social Democratic Party has described the exit of its former National Chairman, Shehu Gabam, as victory of righteousness over evil.

This is contained in a statement signed by the Forum’s Chairman, Femi Olaniyi, in Abuja.

The statement describes Gabam’s tenure as a period of negative influence on the party’s political development.

It commends the party’s National Working Committee for what it is called a bold and timely decision to remove Gabam and others, noting that it will help protect the party from reckless behaviour and mischief.

According to the statement, Olaniyi congratulates all SDP members and leaders nationwide, expressing optimism that the party can now move forward in unity and progress.
