todayOctober 15, 2025

Background

Security Agencies have been urged to redouble their efforts in checking terrorism, kidnapping, and banditry posing a threat to socio economic activities in the country.

The National Coordinator of The South West and North of Nigeria Initiative, Dr Sam Jenfa who made the call in Abuja said the current security challenges in the country is depriving citizens benefits from various laudable initiatives of President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda Program .

According to him, many farmers in the northern part of the country could not access their farmlands to harvest their produce, while some pupils can not go to school in recent times.

While calling on the government to fish out those allegedly sponsoring terrorism, Dr Jenfa also stressed the need for heads of security agencies to look inward and remove bad eggs in the service.

He passionately urged Nigerian students to utilize the opportunity provided by the Federal Government’s Student Loan Scheme, which, according to him, will assist children of the down trodden to acquire higher educational certificates.

He, however, appealed to the authority concerned on the Student Loan Scheme to ensure that genuine students in tertiary institutions have access to the scheme to meet the purpose of the policy.

Dr Jenfa also emphasized the need for Nigerians to exercise patience as the Renewed Hope Agenda programs of Tinubu’s administration would alleviate the suffering of rural dwellers.

According to him, citizens will soon begin to benefit from the policies and programs of the federal government.

The National Coordinator of the South West and North of Nigeria said the organization was ready to work with like-minded people to sensitize Nigerians on various initiatives of the present administration.
